Lake Tahoe – Inspire 1 Flight

My friends took me on a hiking trip around Lake Tahoe and I brought my DJI Inspire 1 drone along. We flew it over Emerald Bay and at a nearby shoreline. I was really impressed with how stable the quadcopter could remain in mid-air. The GPS lock mode allows the Inspire to operate in difficult terrain and the camera gimbal smooths out the video shots a lot. I’m pretty excited to be using it from now on! Continue reading

Teaching English in Tokyo

Since the beginning of March, I’ve been training to earn my TESOL certificate at International TEFL and TESOL Training (ITTT) in Tokyo. It’s one of my main goals for my second time traveling to Japan (my first time was at Osaka through UC Berkeley’s summer abroad program). TESOL stands for “Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages” and in my case I’m currently teaching English to Japanese learners in Tokyo. Continue reading


After three and a half years at UC Berkeley, I’m graduating and moving on to the next phase of my life. College gave me so many opportunities to meet people with common interests and goals and I’m grateful for that. There’s always a supportive environment for any creative project I want to do here.
